Since we accepted our first order, we have continued to optimize the way that we do business, and our employees have led the way, buying into our self-management approach and collectively working to create a winning culture.

Our People are Masters of the Copper Extrusion Process. The workforce that represents Mango Copper is a collaborative invigoration of the previously closed Wolverine Tube factory. By re-employing the most skilful and experienced of previous Wolverine Staff; our knowledge of processes, equipment operations and metallurgy of copper alloys brought this wisdom, experience and know-how back to the rod mill. In addition, all historical manufacturing data, routings, drawings and dies that previously existed were all included in our asset acquisition agreement. Therefore, we are a new company already possessing a vast knowledge-base of skill and intellectual tools on the production shop floor.

Respect, Trust and Open Communication. Our culture is defined by respect and trust, and supported by open communication. We actively seek input and pro-actively address all feedback. Our employees run the factory as if it was their own business. This unique self-management approach serves to stabilize our production, quality and output.

A New Culture in a Traditional Industry. We are a copper company that operates within a traditional industry, but all of our employees are cross-trained throughout the various departments that make up our production facility, which has eliminated layers and added a 21st-century simplicity and flexibility to our operations.

Committed to our Shared Future. At Mango Copper, above all, we are committed to providing our customers with stability over the long term - and so are our employees. As proof, we have collectively signed a six-year labour agreement, clearing the way for us to focus on delivering quality, value and the highest standards of customer service.
